I founded The Tilted Head in 2023 after more than a decade of experience photographing animals while volunteering with various shelters and rescue groups. A lifelong animal lover, I’ve always had a special connection with dogs—in fact, I often prefer their company to most people’s! Combining that love with my passion for photography and design inspired me to create The Tilted Head.

Over the years, I’ve learned that you can’t force a pet to pose or sit still for long periods—pet photography comes with its own unique challenges. Flexibility is essential, and I’ve developed a toolbox of tricks (and treats!) that help me capture each dog’s personality in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

 

I work closely with each client to create a customized photo session, ensuring you get exactly what you want. Whether we shoot outdoors, at home, or in the studio, my top priority is that your pet feels happy, comfortable, and rewarded for their hard work. The result is authentic, joyful photos that truly reflect their personality.
